Shelifa lost both of her parents when she was 5 years old. She is the youngest of 4 in the family. The eldest sister was attempting to help support them by selling some baked goods, but this was not enough and they were struggling. In 2011, Passion Center found them and began to support them as a child headed house. Over the years, the older sisters have all gotten married and now Shelifa is the last one left, she is now the head of her house and is currently taking a course in Tailoring and Design at a vocational training school.
