Maxwell has physical deformities that have prevented him from walking for most of his life. He is currently walking and received surgery when he was a young child. He feels that his deformities do not keep him from most things he wants to do except running. He would like to play football with his friends, but walking long distances and running too painful for him. We are currently working on a strength training program for him to gain muscle tone in the quadriceps to relieve pressure on his knees.
