This household has four children, three girls and a boy. Both parents died in 2019 after long illnesses. Life changed for the worse after the parents died as the kids were left to fend for themselves. Ever since, they have been relying on piecework to find daily food. Unfortunately, they don’t always find work, thus they can spend a couple of days without food. The family lacks basic supplies such as food, a safe house, school materials, and academic support, as well as clothes. Following the dire situation, Stephano dropped out of school a few months after the parents died so that he could do some piecework and provide for the family. The three younger girls are still in school, although they are usually sent home because of their failure to pay the school fees.

However, Stephano is willing to return to school as long as his sisters have food to eat every day. He doesn’t want to work but does sell groceries or commercial farming. Stephano is outgoing and likes hanging out with friends and playing soccer. He is a brave and responsible young man who is ready to do everything necessary to take care of his sisters.
