Samuel was developing normally without any complications through his early infancy until he started having seizures when he was two years old. He was admitted to the hospital for 3 days, but the cause of the seizures was not identified. After being discharged, he continued having seizures, which affected his brain coordination, and he started showing signs of epilepsy. His mother was referred to Zomba Mental Hospital where he was diagnosed with a mental disorder, and he started getting treatment. Samuel has an attention deficit, he’s nonverbal and unable to follow commands. He gets support to do everything from his mother. Samuel does not go to school because of his condition.
