Peter is the firstborn in a family of 4 kids. His father, who was killed in May 2021, was the breadwinner of the family. In his absence, the mother has struggled to provide as she relies on selling vegetables and doing piecework when available. Furthermore, she has found it difficult to provide educational support, especially to Peter, who is in secondary school. Sometimes, Peter gets chased from school due to unsettled tuition balances and can miss up to a week. In terms of basic needs, the family sometimes goes two days without food. In addition, Peter and his siblings lack proper clothes and hygiene supplies.

Peter enjoys learning English, Mathematics, Agriculture, and Geography. He dreams of becoming a surgeon. During his free time, he likes playing soccer (as a striker) and listening to music. His favorite meal is rice with beans. According to his mum, Peter is well-behaved both at school and at home. He is friendly and likes to keep the peace.
