Misheck is the third in a family of 4 kids. His father, who was killed in May 2021, was the breadwinner of the family. In his absence, the mother has struggled to provide as she relies on selling vegetables and doing piecework when available. Furthermore, she has found it difficult to provide educational support for Misheck and his siblings. Sometimes, Misheck gets chased from school due to unsettled tuition balances and can miss up to a week. In terms of basic needs, the family sometimes goes two days without food. In addition, Misheck and his siblings lack proper clothes and hygiene supplies.

Misheck enjoys learning Chichewa, Like Skills, Bible Knowledge, and Social Studies. He wants to become a Primary school teacher inspired by his teachers who seem happy with their job. During his free time, he likes playing soccer (as a defender) and playing assorted games with his peers. He relates so well with his friends that when he is absent, they all get worried. At home, he is obedient and likes to help out with any chores he can manage.
