Madalitso is the second-born child in a family of 3. He has been living with his elder sister, Jacqueline since he lost his mother in 2013 after she collapsed and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. However, his father left and never told the children about his location. This forced Jaqueline to take full responsibility for her siblings, including Madalitso. Ever since life has been hard, and they spend days without food. They struggle to find food, clothes, and some necessities.

Madalitso wants to become a teacher when he grows up, and his favorite subject is English. He is a well-behaved kid both at school and at home. He helps his sister (who he calls 'mother') with house chores, and in his free time, he likes to play soccer with his friends. His favorite meal is Nsima with beans.
