Loveness is the seventh in a family of 8 children; 4 of her siblings got married while the other 4, including herself, are still living with their mother. Out of the 4 children, Loveness and her younger sibling are the only ones who attend school. She lost her father in 2021 due to an unknown disease. She has been raised by her mother in a Christian household. Loveness dreams of becoming a teacher and her favorite subject is Bible knowledge. She enjoys playing netball and her favorite color is blue. She loves eating nsima with beans.

Growing up in an underprivileged household has been difficult for Loveness and her entire family. The family survives on piecework and the Mandasi (fried donuts) business which her mother does. Sometimes members of their church assist them with food or clothes. However, the income that her mother earns is not enough to sustain the family as she earns little compared to the responsibility she has. Her mother stated that she would like Loveness to be enrolled at Passion Center for Children because she is the only hard-working and reliable child in the family.
