Given’s mother is mentally ill and his father is not known. He has five siblings, with some coming from different fathers. Due to his mother's illness, Given has been at high risk of malnutrition and other diseases as his mother barely breastfeeds him and sometimes relatives have been giving him food that's not appropriate for a baby his age. With an absent father, a mentally ill mother, and relatives who can't provide proper care, Given has required urgent support, hence taking him to our Chikondi Infant Home. We hope that Given will develop well through the love and care he will get from our team at the Chikondi Home.
