Francis lives with his single mother following the death of his father in 2018 due to heart problems. He and his 4 siblings rely on their mother to provide for the family. Life without the father, who was the breadwinner, has been difficult since the mother cannot provide for the family with the little she makes from piecework.  

Francis enjoys learning Mathematics, and his favorite color is black, while his favorite food is rice with beans. He dreams of becoming a soldier when he completes his studies. Francis and his family attend the New Apostolic Church and he is a born again Christian.
