Chimwemwe is in her 3rd year of a vocational course on HIV/AIDS managament. She chose this course because she desires to help people in her community with managing their disease and educate others on prevention measures. When she finishes this course she can see that her life will improve because she will be able to have a career and help to support her family and maybe even others who are vulnerable. Chimwemwe is in our Child Headed program and has been on her own for many years, supporting her older disabled brother along the way. She has worked very hard to get where she is and having this marketable skill will help her become independent.
