Bridget is the last born of 5 children; she joined Passion Center in 2006 when she was 7 years old. Sadly, her mother died from health complications due to HIV/AIDS, and her father did not provide care for her and her siblings. Bridget's aunt was able to take her and her siblings in, but she struggled to care for them as she did not have a reliable source of income.

Growing up, Bridget struggled in school due to a lack of food, school supplies, and constant sickness. Her teacher identified her as someone who qualified and could benefit from the Passion Center program and she was immediately enrolled. Today, Bridget is finishing up a college degree in Journalism and hopes to use her story to inspire and support other girls who are going through similar struggles.
