Friends and family,

This June 15–26, I have the opportunity to travel to Malawi, Africa, to serve alongside the Passion Center for Children and their Community Health Network ministry.

Known as the “Warm Heart of Africa,” Malawi is a nation of remarkable hospitality, vibrant culture, and resilient communities. Nearly three-quarters of the population lives in rural villages, where access to consistent healthcare, education, and economic opportunity is extremely limited. Many families live under significant financial strain and face daily challenges related to preventable disease, food insecurity, and a shortage of medical resources and infrastructure.

The Passion Center for Children has spent years faithfully serving these communities by caring for vulnerable children (Infant Rescue Program), supporting widows and families, strengthening local churches, and providing practical medical outreach that demonstrates the love of Christ in tangible ways.

As a Physician Associate, I will have the opportunity to help conduct physical health assessments for children and assist with community health initiatives. The ministry's outreach reached hundreds of patients through home visits and clinics, supported infants in need, connected families with medical care, and shared the hope of Christ throughout the community.

More than anything, I am asking for prayer.

Please pray:
• That God would prepare the hearts of the people we serve.
• That our team would serve with humility, wisdom, and compassion.
• For safety, health, and smooth travel.
• For the local churches and ministry leaders who continue this work long after we leave.
• That Christ would be glorified in everything we do.
