Join us in starting a Sewing Mothers Group at two more of our churches. We have had groups at three of our churches, and each of those groups has seen fruit from their labor in how they're able to give back to the church and serve their community, using their newly taught skills. Each group costs $1,750 to start up. The money raised for this project will fund the purchase of 7 treadle sewing machines for the women to share, pay for the instructor, and provide the materials needed for the group. The women selected to join the group are widows and other vulnerable ladies who come out of our local church and part of their meeting time is spent studying the word of God as a group. What a blessing to women who might not have another opportunity to learn a trade to support their families.
