Hello Sweet Friends!

I had the incredible opportunity to finally make it to Zomba, Malawi in Africa for my first mission trip there, after wanting to go for seven years. How grateful I am can't be put into words. Lord-willing, I will be back in Malawi- part of my heart lives there now. While there, our team had the opportunity to visit the Chikondi Infant Rescue Home. Chikondi means "love" in Chichewa, and love is written all over this Infant Rescue Home. This is a little about the Infant Rescue Home from the Passion Center Website:

"The Chikondi Infant Home (Chikondi means Love) is dedicated to providing a safe Home for infants who’ve lost their mothers during or shortly after birth — and have no one to care for them.

For years, we’ve been asked by local government officials to start a Rescue Home focused on surviving infants, but we knew this would be a huge commitment with many challenges. In faith, through prayer and the unfolding of a unique situation, we opened the Chikondi Infant Home in June of 2024."

These seven Nannies (affectionately known as the "Mommies") take care of 12 infants and toddlers who have no other safe home to live in 24/7. These seven women, have dedicated their lives to loving, caring for and feeding these 12 babies as their own. If that doesn't make you cry, I don't know what could. To see their love in real-time while I was there, was more than awe-inspiring. You don't have to have your own children to understand just how BIG this kind of love is, but being a mother, and having gone through the newborn phase and toddler phase myself, I know just how much love, energy, emotion, and time it takes to love so well.

These seven women cook for these 12 babies and themselves over an open-fire. Can you imagine having your child, niece or nephew, crying in hunger, only to tell them- give me time to make a fire, heat a pot and make you some food (times 12 bellies to feed) and do that all day everyday- rain or shine, extreme heat or cool? Then on top of doing that, can you imagine how many cloth diapers from 12 babies would pile up in just one day? Then to wash each of those diapers everyday, all through the night (you mamas know that 2:00 am blowout wash that by hand x12). To say that these Nannies put in 100% effort everyday caring for these babies is just touching the surface.

I am asking for your help. Together, we can make a difference for these babies and their Nannies. Will you join me and be a Difference Maker? I am seeking to raise $2,700 USD to buy a gas-can stove and a clothes washer for the Chikondi Infant Rescue Home. Will you partner with me in fervent prayer, and with your financial support to help me raise these funds?

For anyone in the local Columbus, Ohio area when you donate $135.00, I am offering to give you a 20-minute Mini-Photo session, with 7 edited photos in a private online gallery sent to your inbox by October 11th, 2025, in-time for you to use one of those photos for your Christmas card this year if you wanted to. These Mini-Sessions will be offered on either September 6, 2025, or Saturday, September 13th, 2025. Time-slots, location, and more information for this offer can be found on my Facebook page - "Through His Eyes Photography LLC."

***100% of donations from $1 - $2,700 is appreciated and used to glorify God in the raising of these funds.

If you wanted to help support this fundraiser by helping to provide formula for the babies who still take formula, your donation of $12 covers one can of formula that can last up to three weeks for a baby.

If you feel called to sponsor a child from the Passion Center- you can find information about how to do that at this link here:

Prayerfully and with a grateful heart, thank you so much for being a Difference Maker in the special lives of these women and babies across the world in Malawi. I can't wait to go back to Malawi and be able to see the stove and washer they will have because of YOUR love for them.

In Jesus' name, Go with God today my friends, Jesus loves you.
