Age 13

Gender Female

Program Type Champs Mobile

Violet cannot sit on her own and is fully dependent on her family for all tasks. She has a “windswept” posture, meaning that her ribs, spine, and hips all pull her body to one side. Because she spends most of the day lying on a mat, her body is beginning to change shape and form, making it even more challenging to make any physical improvements. She is also malnourished. We hope to continue physical therapy with Violet after she is on the nutritional program for a few months and with her mom doing the stretches that we have recommended.

March Update: Violet

Published Mon, Mar 29, 21. Written by Holly King.

Recently Violet was seriously ill and was admitted to the hospital. She was having seizures and had become unconscious. She has been discharged and is now back home on medication to help prevent seizures. Last Thursday, the Passion Staff visited Violet at home and delivered a food package and our nurse was able to check on her.
