Hastings lives with his mother, father, 2 uncles and a brother. When he was 3 years old, he started having seizures. He still experiences seizures when he is not on medication. He enjoys playing football with friends. His mom expressed her desire that she wants her son to be as normal as other children. She wants him to be able to do things that other kids do, helping out around the home, dressing himself, bathing himself and things like that.
