Deborah is the last-born in a family of 4 kids. She and her siblings live with her widowed mother. Life became difficult for Deborah and her family when her father died in March 2017 due to high blood pressure. He was the breadwinner, and now her mother, who depends on piecework, can barely put food on the table. Deborah sometimes goes to school on an empty stomach and lacks educational support.

She enjoys learning English and Mathematics at school. She is one of the top 20 students in her class and dreams of becoming a medical doctor. She was born and raised in a Catholic family, and loves playing netball and other games with friends. This obedient girl loves doing chores at home, and her favorite color is Apple Green.
